Variety of Character Voices
I craft a wide variety of unique and distinctive character voices. Many of the books I narrate have upwards of 50 unique character voices.
Multiple Payment Options
I offer PFH, RS+, and occasionally RS payment options.
My PFH rate (Price per Finished Hour) for completed audio is $225. With this option, your total cost is $225 times the number of hours for the final runtime. Audio completed under this option is yours to then distribute however you chose, and all royalties will go to you.
RS+ stands for royalty share plus. This option splits the financial risk between you and me. My up-front rate for RS+ is lower at $100 PFH, and we split the royalties of audiobook sales equally between us.
Once in awhile, I offer a pure royalty share option to authors. This is a riskier endeavor on my part since narration requires many hours of preparation, recording, and editing (often 6-10 hours of work for every finalized hour produced), and with royalty share there is no guarantee that royalty sales will cover any of the expenses. To be considered for Royalty Share projects, an author must demonstrate a strong marketing plan.
Note that for RS+ and pure RS contracts, I typically use Amazon’s service, ACX. The use of this service handles all royalty splitting and banking automatically, but it also locks us into distribution through their platforms. There are a few wide distribution royalty share options, but they require a bit of additional bookkeeping on our ends. Please let me know if you would prefer to pursue those options.
